There just isn't another line we trust other than the Permit line. We are fortunate to have Greg Vincent who has won the Del Brown 3 times as a partner in our Chile Lodges, he knows as much about Permit and how they eat as anyone. He insists on using heavy flies that get down quickly and you need a line like the Rio Permit line to accomplish casting heavily weighted Crab flies at Permit.
