2017 Jackson Big Tuna
Each year we think "This is the year the Big Tuna slows down" and every year we are wrong. Stil one of the best tandem fishng kayaks on the market today.
The last couple of year we all think, " will this be the year the Big Tuna drops in popularity." Huh well we have been wrong each time. The Jackson Big Tuna kayak is not only not dropping in popularity but gaining in popularity. It is one of the premier fishing kayaks on the planet and the reason why is simple.
The Jackson Big Tuna are equal parts family oriented and hard core fishing. Use the Big Tuna with a buddy or family member fishing or take it down to a one man fishing mega machine. You can't go wrong with the Jackson Big Tuna it is as good as it gets on most water. It is a top 3 seller at WCO!
The Big Tuna is one of our largest capacity kayaks with the ability to paddle either as a tandem or a solo fishing kayak. It has many different seating positions allowing for traditional tandem positions, ‘face time’ positions and a good variety of solo positions making it a great platform for fishing of all kinds. Its JK stability, logical accessory positioning, rudder option, and speed make it a serious predator in all water types.
With all larger fishing kayaks we prefer light paddles. We also want a paddle that pushes allot of water. All of the Bending Branches fishing paddles have large wide blades that push allot of water. A vast majority of anglers who purchase a Big Rig also purchase two paddles. If you have two folks in the boat why not have both paddle. You don't always have to have a second paddler but if another person is in the Big Tuna having them paddle is a nice option. Again we prefer there Bending Branches and for the Big Tuna we like the Angler Ace and for a second paddle either getting another Angler Ace or get a Scout as a second cheaper option for a paddle. to check out paddles you can see them at through this link. http://wcofishing.com/Kayak-Fishing-Paddles/
Length is also a consideration and it could go either way. If you are shorter the 240cm is best and anyone over 6'0" would do well with a 250cm
